Handmade and cast into sterling silver using the lost wax casting technique. This necklace was inspired by the cool, deep, green waterholes of Aotearoa. Calm in the middle but surrounded by tricky eddies. The pendant is set with a deep green Onyx cabachon. The back of the stone is open allowing light to pass through it. The chain is medium weight, sterling silver with an adjustable back with pretty detail. As a woman with short hair (who always dreamt of long, flowing locks) I love the idea that bare necks provide the perfect opportunity for extra necklace detail. For this necklace I have added a small, coral casting (from my Hawaiian adventures) which hangs down the back, depending on the length that the wearer chooses. Beautiful worn with a strappy dress.
Chain length is 60cm but can be adjusted to be worn shorter (with back detail)
