We are blessed in Aotearoa with the most amazing coastline. In many parts of NZ you can walk or ride long expanses of beach without coming into contact with another human. My summer holidays and swimming trips away always involve beaches and I spend alot of time either swimming the coastline, walking or cycling. I love the patterns created by the tide rolling in, as the beach curves around and disappears into the horizon. I have created this ring using the lost wax casting technique and worked with melted wax to recreate the beach patterns. The finished cast ring has then been set with a Black Onyx and finished with a hint of a black patina to enhance the textures. One of a kind.
