Beaches that are continuously pounded by incoming surf will often have beautiful lacy patterns of sea foam collecting just about the low tide mark. Paekakariki Beach, just north of Wellington , is often decorated with the most amazing sea foam patterns. These dainty earrings have been inspired by the random nature and shape of seafoam. Handmade, beaten, textured and hanging from a recycled sterling silver stud. I have added 14ct electroplated gold to two links on each earring and also applied 23.5ct gold to the surface of each stud using the keum boo gilding process.
I have also made another pair in sterling silver only.
