The kina shell is one of the most beautiful, iconic shells that you can find on NZ beaches. Covered in spikes when alive, the patterns on the shell are quite mesmerising and I have used the textures from kina in a number of my pieces of jewellery. These cast sterling silver earrings have been made using kina textures.
