When I found a green onyx cabachon shaped like a droplet how could I resist? Water themes run through all of my work (pardon the pun). This beautiful stone has been set in a handmade sterling silver bezel, with back detail that allows light to pass through. The bail for the pendant was created using a rock coral casting (from my Hawaiian adventures) and the back detail attached to the end of the chain is a sterling silver casting of a local NZ barnacle. The chain is sterling silver, medium weight and can be worn at any length. The barnacle casting on the end of the chain provides added interest to the necklace, particularly for short haired women or women who choose to wear their hair up - depending on how long the necklace is worn, the barnacle casting will hang down the back of the neck - beautiful if you are wearing it with a strappy dress.
Chain length 60cm but can be worn at any length.
